David “Stodoe” Stodolny - Founder & Creative Director

David has been animating and drawing since he was four years old. He grew up in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. After high school David successfully completed the Classical Animation program at Sheridan College where he pursued his life long dream of animating for a living. He started working on TV shows and direct-to-DVD features in Toronto while working for Nelvana and DKP. He eventually moved to C.O.R.E. Feature Animation, working on The Wild which gave him the experience to move down to Los Angeles to work for Sony Pictures Imageworks. David contributed to such films as Open Season, the Academy Award Nominated: Surf's Up, I Am Legend and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. In 2009 David made the move to Dreamworks Animation where he worked on the Academy Award nominated How To Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss In Boots and also animated on Turbo, Mr Peabody & Sherman, Penguins of Madagascar and Home.

In addition to the creative works of Stodoe Studios David is currently an animator for Walt Disney Feature Animation where he is working on their upcoming movie Zootopia.

OUR STUDIO

Stodoe Studios was established in 2011 to create digital, online content with a focus on animation. It’s a place to escape to on the web that is constantly offering new, funny and high quality media. Stodoe Studios is best known for its online animated parodies such as Harrey Podder: Say the Magic Word and Everyday Hulk. Stodoe Studios was created and founded by David Stodolny.
